Purchase Membership

Direct debit memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment unless otherwise stated in promotional terms. After the initial 3-month period, fees may be adjusted. Members will be given 14 days' written notice of any changes. Intentional payment defaulting is not permitted. In the event that a member defaults on one or more payments and seeks to reactivate their membership, they will be required to pay both the outstanding balance for any missed weeks and the current week’s payment before their membership is reinstated. Failure to settle outstanding fees may result in termination of membership and refusal of future access to Conscious Breath Co. services. Conscious Breath Co. reserves the right to terminate memberships for members with repeated failed payments or unresponsive communication regarding payment issues.
If paying by credit card, the name on the card must match the account name.
3. Late Payments and Outstanding Balances
Members who default on payments will be liable for any outstanding amounts in full. Conscious Breath Co. reserves the right to deny access to the studio or services until all overdue payments are cleared. Reactivation of a paused membership requires payment of all missed instalments, plus the current week’s fee.
Unpaid invoices may incur additional late fees, and accounts overdue by more than 30 days may be referred to a third-party debt collection agency. Any recovery costs incurred will be added to the total amount owing.
Members are encouraged to communicate proactively if facing financial hardship — support and flexibility is always available through open and respectful conversation.
4. Cooling-Off Period
Under Australian Consumer Law, you may cancel your membership within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no services have been used. Membership cancellations after the cooling-off period are subject to the terms in this agreement.
5. Membership Suspensions
Memberships may be suspended for up to 30 days once per 12-month period after completing the initial 3-month term. Suspension requests must be submitted via email at least two weeks in advance. Suspensions for medical reasons require a medical certificate and may be granted for up to 30 days. Account suspensions will alter the direct debit payment schedule. Administrative charges may apply for processing suspension requests.
6. Membership Terminations
Members may cancel their membership after completing the initial 3-month term by providing two weeks’ written notice via email. Memberships terminated before completing the 3-month term require full payment of the remaining contract period. Administrative charges may apply to termination requests.
Early Cancellation
By signing up for a Conscious Breath Co. membership, you agree to a minimum commitment period of 12 consecutive weeks. If you choose to cancel your membership prior to completing the 12-week minimum, an early termination fee of $98 will apply. This fee helps cover the administrative costs, loss of reserved session access, and the reserved member spot that could have been allocated to another client. No cancellations will be processed until the early termination fee has been paid in full.
7. Class Bookings and Cancellations
We highly recommend pre-booking classes online to reserve your place. If you book a casual class and fail to attend, no refund will be provided. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time to avoid a late cancellation or absentee fee. Members who repeatedly fail to cancel or attend booked classes may have their booking privileges restricted.
8. Introductory Offers
Introductory offers are valid for first-time members only, are non-transferable, and cannot be paused or extended. The offer activates on the date of your first class and must be used within the specified time frame.
9. Class Passes
Class passes activate on the date of your first class and expire as outlined on our website. Passes are non-transferable.
10. Access to Conscious Breath Co.
Members must be 14 years or older to attend classes.
Members under 18 require a signed consent form from a parent or legal guardian.
Wear appropriate attire, including socks, and refrain from wearing shoes during sessions.
11. Use of Conscious Breath Co. Facilities
Members must use equipment and facilities responsibly and report any issues to staff. Conscious Breath Co. reserves the right to modify or remove equipment and classes at its discretion. Studio equipment must be cleaned and returned to its proper place after use. If any studio equipment — including but not limited to headphones, beds, blankets, bolsters, or props — is found to be damaged, stained, or broken due to misuse or negligence, you may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
12. Medical or Physical Conditions
Members must disclose any medical or physical conditions that may impact their participation and ensure they have medical clearance to attend classes. If your condition changes, you must inform Conscious Breath Co. promptly. Conscious Breath Co. is not responsible for injuries, health complications, or medical advice. Participation is at your own risk. All members must sign a liability waiver before their first session. This waiver remains valid for all subsequent sessions unless revoked in writing. Participation in classes involves inherent risks. By attending, you accept these risks and release Conscious Breath Co. from liability for injuries or health issues arising from participation.
13. Release of Liability
Members acknowledge that participation in classes carries risks of injury and practice at their own risk. Conscious Breath Co. is not liable for personal items that are lost, damaged, or stolen on the premises. Members are responsible for the costs of repairing or replacing damaged studio equipment caused by their actions.
14. Violation of Terms and Conditions
Conscious Breath Co. reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate memberships immediately for violations of these terms. Refunds will not be provided for memberships terminated due to a breach of terms. We reserve the right to deny access to the studio or classes to anyone at our discretion.
15. Privacy and Data Handling
Conscious Breath Co. complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 in handling your personal data. Personal and payment information is collected solely for membership management and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.
